The department is a medical office that supposedly provides therapy to patients. Numerous attempts will be made, all of them unsuccessful, until he discovers creatures with unusual abilities.
Biography
Search For A Cure
Ipiprix is the founder and head doctor of the Mental Assistance Department, who became a doctor after graduating from the University of Georgia and getting his medicine degree. Though the reasons are unknown, he has always been interested in the concept of Immortality, which is the main subject of his research. Later on, he will meet another doctor, Bart_Montgomery, who was presumably working on immortality as well and who found through his studies lots of information about immortal creatures called Nephilim, who might help them to find out the secret of immortality. Ipiprix will then set up an expedition to the Nephilim's location. Bart invited a third person, Enrique_Graves. From there, the three doctors discovered the story of the Nephilim, and reached out to the last of them. They took out his eye and brought it back to the recently created Mental Assistance Department. From these experiences, Cure#4 is created, but results in a failure, as the potion makes the patient burn after ingestion.
Later, Ipiprix discovers the location of an island in the middle of the sea after investigating rumours about an immortal man living there. However, unable to discover the source of his immortality, Cure#28 was in turn considered a failure.
Ipiprix's downfall
Later and still searching for a cure, Ipiprix went to the Mountains of Madness, a place in which he discovered the Mindwalkers. These creatures have many abilities, such as the capacity to extract happy moments from a person's memories, and store them forever in the form of a coloured liquid. As keeping a person's memories forever is considered a form of immortality, this ability particularly interested Ipiprix. However, things won't go as planned, and he will end up trapped by the Mindwalkers. Despite having his memories drained, they would have used on him one of their other abilities: mind control. The mind of Ipiprix is now gone: only his body remains, an empty shell whose mind is controlled by the Mindwalkers. Thus, Ipiprix, (will be still referred to as such despite being parasitized by a Mindwalker) brought some mindwalkers to the Mortality Advancement Division to experiment their abilities on patients. From these experiments, Cure#49 is created. Experiments reveal that the cure is not safe and has many side effects, as seen on true_faces. Bart_Montgomery would then recommend Cure#49 to be discontinued. However, Ipiprix killed him before he could spread the information, and hid his body in his office. Later, Enrique_Graves had suspicions about him, but ended up disappearing at the Mountains of Madness.
Cecil_Montgomery, Bart's son, had also become skeptical of his father's disappearance. He ended up investigating the Mental Assistance Department and discovering the truth. Cecil escaped and was driven by a goal to stop Ipiprix and the Mindwalkers. Mind walker'd Ipiprix is stopped at Arctic End, if the player chose the good ending. Afterwards, his ghost can be seen at the final scene of the game, grieving to have let these events happen.History
Ipiprix joined Roblox on 6/26/2018, and created his game the next day. He founded the Mental Assistance Department on December 30th, 2018, with the other members of the myth joining soon after. Ipiprix was the continuation of the story that was started by true_faces. Then in July 2020, Ipiprix was interrogated by agents of the Roblox's Myths Intelligence Agency. A transcript for the interrogation was then written by MisterCelsius on July 16th, 2020. Later on August 4th, 2021, an investigation document was formed by an agent named, xlgamerlx.
Appearance
Ipiprix’s current avatar consists of a “Black Label Blazer”, shirt and pants, and “The Investigator” hat. In some of the MAD games, he can be seen with three red eyes, as he is under Mind Walker control at that time.
Personality and Traits
Ipiprix himself is always acting professional, even when not present as the Mental Assistance Department. Other than that, he may come off as reserved or ominous when not talking to other players and is left to his own devices. Any interactions with him are when he is under the influence of mind walkers, not giving the full story to avoid the truth of his nature.
Ipiprix’ skin turned grey, one of the side effects caused by the Mindwalkers operation when they drain memories.
