WaldenCult

There are not strings on me..— WaldenCult

Biography

Before the story of the Cult Family, it is known that Walden was somewhat involved in the death of a child in an oven, although the details have not been made clear.

In the early 1970's, Devin Walden Lecter was an esteemed 1 percenter due to his family's wealth, after he became bored of this lifestyle he decided to sell off his wealth in order to story the art of voodoo, witchcraft, and the supernatural. In the middle of a swamp in Louisiana he set up a shack where he would seclude himself and study, over time he would go slowly insane talking to a puppet who he called "Dalton".

Rumors of a voodoo doll maker who made many traps would become town-talk leading to MartinCult's interest of Walden. Martin would then after an agreement that the area could be used for ceremonies, officially allow Walden to become a member of the family. Walden would accept because of Martin's mask specifically having an aura he was interested in, however, with time it would become apparent that Walden was a threat to Martin and his family due to his instability. During the late 70's Walden would be killed by Martin and left pinned on the wall. Discovered by other members later on he would be buried next to his shack.

History

WaldenCult joined Roblox on March 23rd, 2019 and had always appeared to be online but had rarely ever been seen in a public server. He was introduced to the public at the family manor by MartinCult but had never really seemed to participate much in The Cult Family after the year 2020. During the early months of 2019 though he would be seen with the likes of Emmett and another new member Merle. He would be at the old manor for various reasons, he was also credited as the 2020 manor builder by the Rebirth team.

Walden was officially removed from the Cult Family on April 10th, 2020, and was forced into retirement. It was announced that WaldenCult had been kicked out of the Cult Family due to his lack of care for the myth and inactivity. Following this, Walden's lack of care for the myth led to him allowing a friend of his into the account, which proceeded to steal the account and hereby use it to scam followers, framing the original owner for it. The account would then fall into inactivity for a few years.

In 2022, Walden would recover the account and go online for the first time in years leading to his eventual ranking as Former Family in the Cult Family Rebirth group. He would reopen his game "Shack" and provide assets for the Shallow Basket Ceremony game.

Appearance

WaldenCult appears to be wearing the "WillCult" shirt and pants instead of his own clothing. He also has the Star Face mask and Long Hair included in his outfit. He uses the Goofball face and the Dirty t-shirt.

Personality and Traits

WaldenCult's personality is largely unknown due to the very few sightings of him, but he is said to have been a calm person. Apparently, he spoke in a more childish tone compared to others, meaning he could be an immature person or something else along the lines of that. However, he is another character who is described as quiet. Through his public game, it can be seen that he may have some evil tendencies as well as some mental issues.

Games

Waldo's Old Home

This was Walden's main game that contains lots of voodoo/ritual aspects to it inside of the house. The game is decently-detailed and has really only the house to explore. This is a nod to Walden's early life however, it is not clear what is going on.

Shack

Shack is Walden's most popular game it contains a recreation of the Evil Dead cabin, presumably not originally for the Cult Family.

No strings on me (unavailable)

This is another private game of Walden's that only has a few visits. What its purpose or content was is unknown but it seems to relate to puppets and his About Me section.

Group

The Cult Family

The Cult Family is the popular myth group that Walden had once been a part of as a member of the family. This group has since been shut down due to MartinCult being owned by Kazdam and has since been reformed into a new group known as Cult Family Rebirth. WaldenCult had his own rank within this old group before he was removed as a member.

Cult Family Rebirth

After coming online for the first time in years he was ranked as Former Family.

Relationships

DaltonThePuppet

DaltonThePuppet is a completely inactive account that was seemingly created to go along with Walden's character. This might mean that it is Walden's puppet and is his passion. Anything about Dalton is unknown and there are no records of him interacting with anyone.

Theories

• Walden hallucinated due to some mental illness that hasn't been shared.
  • Inside Walden's home, "FLOORS HAVE TEETH" is written on the ground which is an absurd thing to think. No paranormal experiences similar to this have been said before, ever for the Cult Family.
  • Shallow Basket Ceremony makes this clear by showing that Walden sees strings on himself and others.

Trivia

• Walden's repeats the phrase with something along the lines of "There are no strings on me", it is not known why, however, it may be because of a possible obsession with puppets or dolls.
• "No strings to hold me down" is an old quote from Walden, and is from the "I've Got No Strings" song which relates to Pinocchio.
• WillCult is said to be the original replacement in the story for Walden after being kicked out.
• He has never appeared in any videos posted by Mrflimflam regarding the Cult Family, despite him being a part of the family during this time period.
